The new report from Australia “Respectful Relationships Education: Violence prevention and respectful relationships education in Victorian secondary schools“ offers a comprehensive overview of best practice in violence prevention education in schools. In this report five principles of best practice are identified as key elements of a successful prevention strategy:

- A program framework and logic
- Effective curriculum delivery
- Relevant, inclusive and culturally sensitive practice
- Impact evaluation
