Making the connection: Sexual health promotion and sexual violence prevention, part 1
In addition to moving from Virginia to Washington state, Jonathan Yglesias also made a big move in jobs. He went from working on sexual violence prevention at the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance to working on infectious disease prevention at the Washington State Department of Health. But that move is not as big as it may, at first, appear. In this first podcast in a series about making the connection, Jonathan explains the similarities in both types of prevention work, noting lessons learned and making the case for sexual health promotion and sexual violence prevention practitioners to collaborate.
