16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence begins today

Today begins the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign. Throughout the world, activists are using these days to advance discussions and promote action toward ending gender-based violence. The theme this year, “From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Make Education Safe for All!” makes connections between all forms of violence and the need for education for all.

Only when we are working together can we make a difference in creating communities, societies and cultures where violence is no longer acceptable.
