This presentation by Lindsay Orchowski from Alpert Medical School of Brown University, provides an overview of social norms theory as it relates to sexual violence prevention, as well as strategies for integrating social norms theory into existing intervention approaches. Two sexual violence prevention programs grounded in social norms and bystander intervention theory will be reviewed.
