Reconstructing the Power and Control Wheel: Trauma Informed IPV Education

This workshop, presented by Transcend Charlotte and the University of North Carolina-Charlotte , addresses the needs of transgender and gender non-conforming college students in gender based violence education. The presenters use the power and control wheel to identify gaps in areas pertaining specifically to transgender and gender non-conforming students. The audience is guided through restructuring the wheel to be more reflective of the experiences of these students.
