New Year, New Look: A conversation about our new brand
PreventConnect recently unveiled not only a whole new website, but a whole new logo, and on this podcast, we’re joined by Celeste Espinoza, PreventConnect’s graphic designer and the brain behind PreventConnect’s new look!
Celeste Espinoza brings visual communication and design skills to support PreventConnect in its mission to advance the primary prevention of sexual assault and relationship violence by building a community of practice. Celeste graduated from Sacramento State University in 2017 with a B.S. in Graphic Design. Her commitment to social justice and women’s empowerment drew her to the field of ending gender-based violence.
During our conversation, Celeste walks us through the design process and explains the rationale behind the various design elements of PreventConnect’s new logo. Going through the design process allowed us to think more about who we are, what audiences we serve, and how we connect with others.
Listen to this podcast to learn more about our new logo, and tune in to episode 2 to hear Celeste’s tips for non-designers looking to visually enhance their prevention programs!
