Here are the most-watched web conferences PreventConnect hosted in 2024. Our team hosts multiple web conference series each year, each featuring new guests and guest presenters, to help equip prevention practitioners with the tools to practice primary prevention and health equity. All PreventConnect web conferences are free. Measuring Love in the Journey to End Sexual and Intimate Partner Violence

This web conference series was designed to build knowledge and provide tools and guidance for practicing radical love starting with self. It is designed for practitioners and leaders who are and who support people impacted by oppression to be more conscious, explicit, and heart-centered in ways that build love+power for self, teams, and communities.

Advancing the Progress and Promise of the National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence: Prevention Listening Lesson

This web conference brought together representatives from the federal government, and dedicated advocates for a special listening session to hear about the progress made since the National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence’s inception and explore future actions to enhance the prevention of gender-based violence.

“Greening & Growing” Strategies to Create Protective Environments and Prevent Sexual & Domestic Violence

This web conference explored the natural environment’s critical role in shaping relationships and environmental health, safety and well-being. Hosted in partnership with the Prevention Institute and featuring voices from RPE and DELTA-funded programs, experts provided an overview of greening strategies in preventing sexual and domestic violence and highlighted real-world programs that are making difference in their communities.

Institutionalizing LGBTQIA+ Justice in Sexual and Intimate Partner Violence Prevention

This web conference explored the connections between forms of anti-LGBTQIA+ violence and sexual and intimate partner violence rates, and uplifted strategies that center trans and queer joy and inclusion as a value and practice in creating safe, thriving communities.

This web conference illustrated the connections between economic security and violence-free, equitable communities. National sexual and intimate partner violence prevention experts provided a framework for creating economic supports as a violence prevention strategy and offered real-world examples and recommendations for organizations hoping to explore economic supports in their prevention work.
